This research study explores the shared and distinct ways the Quran and the Gospels use parables to bridge the gap between complex spiritual truths and everyday human understanding. While both scriptures employ simple, relatable metaphors to inspire moral reform and a sense of divine accountability, their scope and structural intent differ significantly. The Gospels primarily focus on the narrative and storytelling tradition, aiming to refine the individual’s inner spiritual life and personal ethics. In contrast, the Quranic parables function as part of a more comprehensive "system of life," weaving moral lessons together with clear legal, social, and political principles intended to govern both the individual and the state. Ultimately, the study highlights that while the parable is a universal divine tool for guidance, the Quran uses it to build an all-encompassing social framework, whereas the Gospels use it as a profound mirror for the human soul.
