Love for the Prophetﷺ has remained a defining feature of Muslim faith, inspiring scholars, saints, poets and authors across all ages to express their devotion through speech, writing and even sacrifice of life. This research article presents an analytical study of selected works authored by scholars of Jhang that reflect profound love for the Prophetﷺ. These works articulate the exalted status of the Prophetﷺ through Qur’ānic exegesis, Prophetic traditions, historical narratives and spiritual insights. Shān-e-Muṣṭafā explores the themes of divine love and reassurance for the Prophetﷺ through the interpretation of Sūrah al-Ḍuḥā, highlighting the unique relationship between Allah and His Belovedﷺ.ʿIshq-e-Rasūl ﷺprovides a conceptual and experiential analysis of love and devotion, illustrating how intense love for the Prophetﷺ leads ultimately to divine love. Maḥbūbāt-e-Thalātha systematically explains the three beloved attributes of the Prophetﷺ, the Companions, Angel Jibrīl and Allah Almighty, grounding each in Qur’ān, Ḥadīth and Sīrah. The study concludes that the contributions of Jhang’s scholars present a rich blend of scholarship and spirituality, reinforcing love for the Prophetﷺ as a transformative force for individual faith and collective moral refinement.
