This study examines the relationship between contemporary weapon technology and the interpretation of key Islamic religious terminology. The primary objective is to analyze how classical terms such as Jihad, Qital, Harb, and Aman are understood in light of modern warfare, including advanced military technologies, cyber warfare, and weapons of mass destruction. The study adopts an analytical and comparative methodology, drawing upon primary Islamic sources as well as classical and contemporary scholarly interpretations. The findings indicate that while Islamic teachings provide comprehensive ethical guidelines governing conflict, many contemporary misinterpretations arise due to a lack of contextual understanding. The study highlights that Islamic principles emphasize justice, proportionality, and the protection of non-combatants, which remain highly relevant in addressing modern warfare. The research calls for interdisciplinary dialogue between religious scholars, legal experts, and policymakers.
