Sūrat Yūsuf presents one of the most comprehensive Qurʾānic narratives, offering profound moral, spiritual, and psychological guidance that is highly relevant to the character development of the young generation. This study explores the ethical and moral lessons embedded in the life of Prophet Yūsuf (ʿalayhi al-salām), focusing on their applicability to contemporary youth facing moral, social, and identity-based challenges. Through a qualitative thematic analysis of selected verses, the paper highlights core values such as patience in adversity, self-restraint in the face of temptation, trust in divine wisdom, integrity, forgiveness, and resilience. The narrative demonstrates how moral excellence is cultivated through trials rather than comfort, emphasizing emotional discipline, moral agency, and steadfast faith. The study further argues that Sūrat Yūsuf provides a holistic framework for character education that integrates spiritual consciousness with ethical conduct and social responsibility. By contextualizing these Qurʾānic principles within modern educational and social realities, the paper underscores the enduring relevance of Sūrat Yūsuf as a foundational source for nurturing morally upright, emotionally resilient, and socially responsible youth.
