This research paper critically examines the increasing trend of indecent, frivolous, and purposeless content on social media platforms, with a special focus on TikTok, in the light of Quranic teachings. The study investigates how such platforms, while offering tools for creativity and communication have also become a source of moral decline, particularly among Muslim youth in Pakistan. Through a thematic analysis of selected popular TikTok videos and user behaviors, this paper evaluates the deviation from Islamic values such as modesty, purposefulness, and truthfulness. The research incorporates relevant verses of the Holy Qur’an to highlight the ethical principles that should govern public expression and digital content creation. This work aims to serve as a bridge between traditional Islamic morality and contemporary digital culture, guiding educators, parents, and youth towards a more purposeful and ethical presence online.
